Help with my 85

How do I know when my computer is bad? When I turn my key on/engine off the engine light does not luminate anymore and now the car won't start.

That's how you know....no SES light (ign on, engine off) means no power to the ECM (check fuse or Orange plug by the battery) or a dead ECM.

Check FUSES. I believe there are 2 of them

Look at the sticky.
There is a link to the ECM pinout. Back probe the wiring ans make sure you have power.

If no power, check fuses, battery connections, grounds, ECM power connector at the battery, and and fusable link in the orange wire.
Start there and report back. :smile:
