I think there might be an error on the set of instructions i got, not
sure though .

I am having trouble on parts A & B

Can anybody check their instructions for me to make sure ?

Would have called PTS but they are closed till monday :(

I believe I remember reading a post from Bruce that said he would not be happy to see his directions posted so you have mail

Parts A & B

Is part B a small conical spring, and part A a small washer that is .126" thick? If so, what is the problem?

It seems that on the instructions that i got both arrows that point to a & b were shifted over pointing at a different thing.

Blown&injected emailed me the correct instructions.

You are right, the new directions are wrong. I just installed my second kit from them and luckly I had my old instructions. Oopps, I just read the post that Bruce doesn't like directions here, so I edited it. Gald you got the right one.:)

We are aware of this..

Our copier shifted the pages. We will be happy toi send you the right one ASAP.... Contact Mark at PTS and complain. We will get you back up and running ASAP. I am NOT happy about this. It was brought to my attention last week.
Again, I apologize , and we will get this resolved.

How hard is this shift kit..........I am looking at putting one into my stock.........completely stock 95k mile tranny.........??

Or how much would a local shop put it in for?
Or would they be to damn picky to use someone else great product?

TIA Nick

The kit is fairly simple. Just make sure you keep everything very clean. DO NOT USE ANY CLOTHES WHICH LEAVE ANY LINT AT ALL. You can normally find these in your wife's kitchen. LMAO. Shifting is firm and quick, without harshness (such a subjective term). The (correct) instructions are very simple to use, and we are available for tech support as well. As far as cost of install or if anyone will do it, that is up to the shop you use. Our kit requires no drilling and is totally reversable. If you have any further questions, just give us a call. thanks, Mark :D
