i have the LT1 maf and a regular transaltor. is there a jumper harness that hooks it up to the stock maf harness?if so where do i get it from.also what settings to use on the translator to lean out bottem end?

You should have received a short, about 12" or so, harness with the translator that adapts the translator to the stock MAF connector.

There should have been installation instructions which has all the settings.

There are also extender cables available for an in car install, (check the picture on my website.)

Here are the base settings, this is the first rotary switch:
0___No Change
1___5% rich
2___10% rich
3___15% rich
4___20% rich
5___not used
6___not used
7___not used
8___not used
9___35% lean
A___30% lean
B___25% lean
C___20% lean
D___15% lean
E___10% lean
F___5% lean

I am using a Translator +, but I think the fuel settings are the same.

Dan, those numbers you're quoting are the wrong set. Those are "fox body" numbers, not GN numbers.

A little deeper in Cakes link you will find this:

http://www.turbomike.com/translator_buttons.htm The correct numbers.

Well I guess I have a problem. I have on the first page of the instructions a chart with

MAF BASE________New Style MAF - Old Style ECM________New Style MAF - New Style PCM

I used the data in the last column from the chart. The Translator+ is version 4.0.

When you say "used the data in the last column from the chart" do you mean the data under:
New Style MAF - New Style PCM?

If you did, that's the problem. When they say New Style PCM they're refering to the new Camaro's, etc.

Old Style PCM is ours.

As I've stated in several other related threads, the correct settings for MAF BASE are:

0 - Base setting for LS1 3.5"
1 - Richer Base for LS1 3.5"
2 - Leaner Base for LS1 3.5"
3 - Base setting for LT1 3"
4 - Richer Base for LT1 3"
5 - Leaner Base for LT1 3"
6 thru F not used.
