Finally the site is back on!''

so while the site was down i had some trouble with my GN. :frown:
well i just baught my first gn and after getting all the paper work done and codes settled, i decided before my mechanic takes to start it up. well she wont start all of the sudden. i def. think the motor is done!!!
so if anyone knows someone selling a bottom end and maybe even top end please let me know asap. in desperate need of one. it doesnt have to have the turbo or the intercooler. just an 1987 3.8l gn motor. please help. thanks guys!
also if i find out the motor is still good, i want to put alot of money and HP into so what would be my best bet. rip this block out and do work on it or keep that one in their for a little and find another bottom end and do the work on that one? any help with this is greatly appreciated. thanks guys.

The car won't start so you think the motor is done? That is music to a mechanic's ears. Are you sure you didn't want to hear that? What is it doing to bring you to that conclusion? If I just bought a GN that was anything other than a project I'd be pretty pissed right about now if I were you.

Just because it doesn't start doesn't mean the motor is shot. Need more info.
