Hey guys... Well basically something went wrong when I was replacing my oils pan gasket...and BOOM...my timing cover cracked.. I'm shocked because I have no clue how it happened, coolant just started pouring out. Can anyone offer their knowledgable help as to what I should do and where I should get this new timing cover from..

Yes also what size is the bolt in the second picture. It needs to be removed to get the entire cover off correct? Sorry this is my first time doing this..:/

Balancer bolt is a 1 1/8" and the other sockets you'll need are 7/16, 1/2, and 9/16. You may also need a 15 mm socket in some cases. The alternator and coil pack will need to come off and the cam sensor will need to be aligned before removing it.

I did all that except align the cam sensor. How can I go about doing this with the cam sensor...I also finally found out why my car cranks for a solid 10 seconds before firing up(shot wire in the alternator)!!! But I need to figure out how to align this sensor.

Take the cap off the sensor first and then turn the balancer to 0. Mark where the pointer is pointing and then pick a specific location on the engine it's pointing to so you can align it when you put it back in.

And don't mark it with a marker it will wipe off.

Ask me how I know this.

How do you know that? Lol just messing but I thought you told me I need a tool to align it.. I already pulled the sensor out and took the belt off the fly wheel...what now?
