Hey everyone,

I have decided to sell the low mile GN, and pick up one that has the basic mods done to it already. I figure, I don't care about having a low miles car, and I don't want to keep it stock, so whats the point? Haha. I found a car for sale in the mainland that I want also. So the debate, should I sell the car here? Or advertise it on this board and try to sell it on the mainland? Thanks a bunch guys!

I would sell it here if you can get what you want for it. How much are you asking?

Hey John,

I am gonna be open to all offers. If it doesnt sell by word of mouth, I'm gonna look around and see how much GN's in similar conditions go for, and then knock a grand or two off. ;)

I'm confused. Is it that you don't want do the basic mods yourself? Basic bolt on mods is VERY easy. We have many many guys her that can help you. Is is a fast TR that you are going to get? What happens to it if it ever brakes?

Hey Jackson,

It's not that I don't want to do the basic mods myself (well not totally). I have a low mileage almost all original GN, and I think those are getting hard to find these days. A lot of collectors look for all original cars to my knowledge, but I don't really care about keeping them all original, or about low mileage. I figure, I could sell the car and buy an already modded one, and then have $$$ left over to modify it even more. I just don't want to 'ruin' an all original low miles GN, by daily driving it and modding it. I know I just bought the car, but when I bought it, I knew I could make profit on it because of its low miles, and I kind of had the intent of selling it and then buying a higher miles one.

Get two, use the low mile GN for a daily driver and build one for race :D

That actually would be pretty cool. Did you see theres an 87 Turbo T for sale in the paper today, 3k obo I believe! Anyone check it out?

My two cents...

Cale,

Keep the car you have now. Mod it, race it, do what you want to it. It's your car. Be glad that you have a solid platform to build upon.
Forgive me, but I fail to see your logic behind what you want to do. :D
Why sell this car, and take a chance with a higher mile car with more potential problems? To me, it's like your taking a step backwards instead of forward. Sure, it may be original, but what do you really want from it?
I say keep it and have fun. That's why you bought it, right?

I agree for the most part!

Although I understand somewhat, that you don't want to hack up an original GN.

You can still leave the car pretty much stock and STILL do 12's.

I guess it depends on how fast you want to go. :)

Maybe you can get together with Paul Russell while he is there this week and he can let me know what he thinks of it. Maybe we can talk? :)

I think Paul is hoping to see some of you guys at the racetrack on Friday or Saturday.
