Sounds like a great idea. Time slips only. No dummies, no stories. Fact. Documented time slips. I think it would be cool to post how you ran what you ran and what combination you did it with. What tire, and etc....
You want to Tech Advise it? I would think this tech advisor thing would just consist of just making sure all are legit and no crapfests are started, from very quietly behind the scenes. As soon as a thread has gone that way, I want it out. We are "supposed" to be "good sports" and "adults"..... although..... ANYONE who LOSES and is happy or proud about it definitly has got some serious issues and not very good ones either. But a sore loser is the worst.
I would like to see the tech or specs behind each car with a pic and a timeslip to post. Even an evening story about that night or that nights race. Isn't that what we do anyway 99% of the time we are not in the car? We talk about it.
Soooooooo...Why don't we type it to share it. Bet it becomes a cool forum to both participate in and read and laugh about others in this forum. Comon guy and gals!
We have all screwed up at one time or another and the first thing we do is to look to see us caught in the act of screwing up.
I raced professionally for 15 years all over the country with NHRA and did well,( I would say track champion at Sacto 3 years in a row in Pro ET and runner up in Sportsman in a second car and track champion at Sears Point (Infinion) in the same 3 years, doing the exact same thing. The two trees were the toughest part. Oh man, what car am I in? What tree am I on? LOL. Pacific Division 7 champ in pro et and did ehhhhh... alright in Super Street but still I have two Oscars (Wallys)so I know how to win, but boy do I know how to lose too. Don't like it attall so I KNOW how to SCREW UP. TRUST ME!!!
Anyway I will set it up and How about this? We Keep a sub forum thread within your timeslips only thread with the top say ah 25-50 guys with their posted times. Can be updated with the click of a mouse. That would be neat also.

About the Northern California Tb party, like I said, you may use the shop if you so desire. It is there for you and all your guys. Pick a weekend that we can go out and run Friday night at the track, which is a whopping 6 miles away, then party and repair the crap we broke the night before on Saturday. Kinda like a repair your car party.
But it sometimes is fun to discuss screwups as that is how we learn and try to perfect from, and lets face it, we are dumb and funny sometimes

If you will oversee it I will put it up tonight. I will put it up and if you do not want to do it, I am sure out of 12,500 members, I can find somebody with the qualifications to oversee it.
