Active member on a number of national and local forums. Definitely love the GN's, and wouldn't mind having one once the kids are out of the house... until then, we're a family car shop - but one of the family cars is getting some much needed horsepower.

Wanted to join to find a set of 86/87 turbos to start my twin turbo project on my 2009 Pontiac G8 :D ...The G8 Gt came with the LS2/L92 6.0L engine. Made 370WHP with bolt-ons and a tune, but went back to stock to fund a "cheap" twin turbo build. Had a 650WHP Lightning before the G8, and REALLY miss the forced induction.

If anyone has a good 86/87 turbo, lemme know! I picked up a pair of turbos from a local buddy, but didnt realize they were from the 84/85 year, and are a tad too small for the 30lb/min each that i'll need for my goals.

Thanks!

You can post in the parts wanted section and cruise the parts for sale section. Good luck with your projects. Certainly sounds like you know what you're doing.

LOL. The shop is Jeff's Garage  I'll be fabbing everything up myself and doing all the tuning. If the turbos were TE44's, I would be keeping em for sure. Unfortuately they're the stock 84/85 hot air turbos. I dont think there's any way they'll support 300HP/ea, so I'm going to either sell em back to my buddy, or offload them on craigslist.

I've been browsing the classifieds here. Some folks want a wee too much for a 15 year old turbo!
