its just a hot wire like your fuel pump and yes it will probably give better,stronger current to your injectors instead of traveling through your entire voltage system. you probably would have to tune after install because of a richer tune result

Why would my engine run richer?

I see an advantage when running low impedance type injectors that are run at high duty cycle levels.

because of getting a better duty cycle from more constant voltage to your injectors factory harnesses tend to give weak signals to some cylinders than others just like to hot wire fuel pump you will get more pressure after installing it
