High idle in park

Every time I put the GN in park the car idles high - about 1400 RPM. Once I tap the accelerator it slows down to 900 RPM. Any suggestions on what is causing this? I've recently set TPS and IAC and they seem fine. I've also reset the ECM. Thanks.

what is your tps reading while the car is idling high?

Sorry it took me awhile to take the car out and get the readings When I pull into my driveway and stay in drive the car idles at about 1150 RPM and the TPS is at .56v. When I put it in park the RPMs go up to 1400 and the TPS stays at .56v. When I tap on the gas the RPMs drop to 900 and TPS drops to .42v.

Sounds like you could have gummed up throttle plate or something sticking...

As. Eye opener stated. That's probably what ur looking at stickey throtttle cable/gas pedal. Maybe a tps that's sticking or the return spring is worn or busted on the throttle body. Next time the car hi idles put it in park open the hood and see what the linkage on the throttle body is doing. You will prob find that its slightly open see if pushing it closed (back to the idle set screw) helps if so then at least you know where the prob is
