Holset?

First of all just wanted to say HI ! I'm new to this site... I have been given a Holset HX55 turbo and was wondering if anyone has run one. My good friend also gave me a couple of HX35's he said that holset turbo's spool up fast and I would like them. I would think the 35's would be a little small for a single set up,any info or advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks BK

Diesel turbo

A friend of mine also has two of these turbos on his boat. I believe that they came from a diesel truck. I know that you prolly can get some info from Majestic turbo here in Texas, cause I believe that's where he got them from.

Isn't that a 4 bolt turbo? So it won't fit the header without an adapter. Then you will have to make a down pipe to fit it with an external wastegate. You can probably buy 3 good used ta-49's that you know will work for the same money.
