I'm sure when mine arrives I 'll say "man I could have did this myself" but you know I don't plan on being buried with every dollar I've ever made. For a guy as nice and informative as Julio I don't mind giving him a few dollars. Man needs a little time to spend with his kids they grow up fast. Better my time spent with them some than these junk cars.

Actually, if you're dead set on a DIY system in order to save $$ you STILL need to call Julio. He will sell his kit minus the controller and MAP sensor.
I did the research and by the time you buy all the pieces / parts needed for your DIY system and do it right you'll be pretty close to just buying his system. You can always save up and get the controller later.

I don't know what you've got in mind, but: I just listed a chrome up-pipe and NOS solenoids on eBay. The pipe has the bung for the nozzle already on it(from NOS) so it would be perfect for alky injection. may fit your needs somehow? ?????? What's baloney. I personally bought Julio's kit off him minus the controller and MAP. I first decided to model my DIY setup after his kit and realized that I wasn't saving enough money to bother trying to track all the individual parts down. If you want to use a new clean GM overflow tank with the sending unit, stainless lines, shurflow pump, wiring, nozzle, lights, etc it makes no sense to me that you should hunt all those parts down.
I'm sure that if you can build it quite a bit cheaper without the stainless lines, use your existing tank and clean it and so on, but to me his setup is well worth it.

Nobody said Julio's kit wasn't worth it.
DIY kit...........$175 all day long. I guess you can spend as much as you want, but maybe some people would be put off from doing a DIY by the your statement, you have to spend as much for DIY as for an assembled progressive kit. It just ain't so. Hence..........BALONEY!

I never stated that a DIY kit will cost almost as much as a progressive kit. It will cost almost as much as Julio's kit minus the controller and MAP. I paid $236 when I bought mine. When I was adding all the parts I wanted up, it came out to just over $200 and in that case it was much easier for me to make one call and have it all at my door in just over a week. There were detailed instructions, easy install, a pre-made wiring harness, etc.
My point is that if all the convieniences I mentioned above are worth $50 - $60 to you, then give Razor a call. 10 years ago I would've bought and fabbed everything I needed but now I have a family and time is precious. I just want people to know that there is a mid point between a DIY kit and a full blown progressive system.

I think I jumped to the conclusion that you said the DIY will cost what Julio's kit cost. Maybe I'll take that $60 I saved and get some reading lessons. And everybody else............shutup!

It's all good.
Just think about things this way. If everyone on this board was a hard core do-it-yourselfer you would probably be out of business. Hell, I just spent half of the day walking through a bone yard to score myself a spare ECM, module, and coils. Once i got home I thought to myself, I should have just saved the hassle and got the parts from John. Then again, I did snag a couple FMIC's that I can sell on Ebay that will make up for the hassle.
