Hood pad options?

Has anyone come up with a low cost option for a replacement hood pad? Not looking to break the piggy bank for a hood liner. Just a nice clean looking black liner. Preferably not glued to the hood.

I think I paid 145 from Brian at Gbody. The straight black is just what I wanted.

I scored a nos in the box from gm hood liner on eBay a month ago for $200 shipped. I look every day and just happen to be at the right place at the right time. I may get a plain black one too so I don't get this one damaged and sol next time....

That's the one you have to glue. Also he is not a vendor. That's 2 strikes. In the directions they want you to remove the hood and flip it over to install. Strike 3! Your out!!!
