A few pictures from my '78 Regal stocker's engine. It leaned out and melted all three .060 over forged J&E pistons on the right side. The exhaust valve slammed into the #4 piston and bent the valve. You can see the impression on top of that piston. The pins were seized in the pistons. The block was scrap.

That's some serious destruction. What carb were you running and how many pounds of boost ?
 
Looks like the left side got pretty hot but no melting or seizing. All things considered, I'm surprised it wasn't worse. The Eagle crank looked perfect. Surprisingly, I didn't see any sign that debris went through the rod or main bearings. I still need to have those K1 rods checked for straightness. They're pretty tough so hopefully all they need is honed or bushed. The Bullet flat tappet cam and lifters were perfect. I'm starting with all new parts for the replacement engine but I should be able to build a really nice backup shortblock with the parts from that one.
 
It's the original draw through turbo system.
