As title says, went to jump the GN and the cables were crossed on the GN side of things. Turning the key does nothing at all, what should I check first?

my blind friend charged a battery backwards once. it was totally dead before he did. :-P was rather funny.
I had to write on it - and + with a sharpie to remember.

Like above. check all fuses and check battery

If the alternator was hooked up it is most likely toast now also

Yep, the alternator isprobably the issue. Unfortunately when I have seen this done it has killed the alternator before blowing any fuses. No good deed goes unpunished, and a guy I gave a jump to hooked the wires up while I was still in my car. His car got jumped and off he went, I got to sit there with a fried alternator. :(

Where would I go about checking fuses and fuseable links? This is my first car so it's also where I get all my experience.
I'm gonna take my alt. in to get tested, but how do I go about testing the ECM? I've also got a hotwired Walbro, would that be affected at all? Thanks for the help, seems I've got a long road ahead of me.
