What vacuum line do I tap into when hooking up a aftermarket boost gauge? Is it the line coming off of the MAP sensor?

Thanks
James

I used the line just behind the alternator. Tee into it there, works fine for me.

I hooked into one just above the back side of the Pass. side valve cover, right by the trans dip stick tube. From there I was able to tuck it in along the firewall behind the coil.

turbotaone: will you use a a-pillar pod or mount the gauge elsewhere? I got a boost gauge on order and plan to use the autometer 3 gauge pillar pod (oil pressure and water temp). Do you use any other gauges?

Jan, I have a single gauge a-pillar pod right now for my boost gauge, but I would like to get a three gauge pillar pod like the one that you are going to use. Where did you get your Autometer three gauge pod from?

Thanks
James

Not ordered one yet just ordered the boost gauge, have a single pod laying around I thought I'll use to start with as well.

I will be ordering the Autometer one (part number 12203 for t-tops), www.paceparts.com is a good place I can recommend.
