ok it like to run 17psi but its more or less

i have an adjustable wastegate

i bought a new 86-7 wastegate hose but forgot that is 86-87 used one vac hose at the wastegate


anyhelp ? can i take that tee and make new hoses up as the 85 routings?


i got one of the manual boost valves but can figure it out ,,
 
Well...what Im guessing is that you got an adjustable wastegate actuator? As far as I know, its fine to just delete the second line comming off the old actuator, just plug whatever it went to...just use the single line on the new actuator. If I remember right to raise boost you shorten the rod, and to reduce it you lengthen it....about 1 full turn is a 1lb of boost Ive heard.
 
pressure is what closeds the acutator right?


im using the 86-87 hose , one will connect to solenoid

the other is the output of the housing to the acutator

If you using one wastegate line you will have a vacuum hose coming off the turbo compressor housing going to the stock "Y" connector(the restrictor in the "Y" goes towards the compressor housing).......then it branches off into two different lines, one going to the actuator and the other to the solenoid. So, you will have a port on the vacuum block to cap off, if you go to the one hose wastegate.
The spring closes or keeps the wastegate actuator closed and boost/pressure(from the compressor housing) pushes on the spring in the acutator to move the rod out. So, shorter the rod the more boost you will make.
What type of boost control device you got, maybe we can help you figure it out??

ok just out in the heat to test

i routed the hoses as everyone listed

works psi was 12 first run
a couple turns i got 14

not far from that i bottomed out on the wastegate adjustment
rt got 15 ish psi

so i cut 1/4 inc off the rod and made one more turn from the 15 lbs setting

i did not have a chance to drive again but that should be great

1quick85 i was using one of them ebay screw thing but i decide to take it
off
i was reading that its best to let the ecm control boost if is knocks


with that thought the chip says stage 3 dynotech
will that cut the boost off anyway?
