hot air downpipe, rebuilt motor, chip needed??

hey everybody. I'm having my engine rebuilt and i was wondering if i needed to upgrade anything before i throw on this 3"downpipe and cold air intake. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! i thought i read a long time ago that a chip may need to be burned so that the car doesn't run too rich or too lean. i can't find the thread. so any suggestions fellas??

just get a chip burned for your combo.

If all you're doing is a down pipe and have a chip set for your combo already you're set.
