brad who ported your throttle body? i had mine done a really long time ago and i was wondering if there is anything new they do to them?

Brent- I actually bought it off the parts wanted board last winter from a guy in So Cal for $80 already ported. The guy took off about 1/8 inch of metal after the butterfly valve and polished everything up before the butterfly valve. I can send you a PIC if you want. Postons sells the gasket kit for $15. ya send me a pic if you would ( Boost231@hotmail.com) . i need to get my self a digital caliper. and start doing some messurement. i will start doing messurements once i get home to start seeing where i can improve small areas such as the throttle body to turbo area and what not.

I will measure the throttle body with a caliper before I have it installed and my stocker once it is removed. I will let you know. Thanks- Brad

ya i want to match the tb to the compressor inlet and with my ruler its pretty close but i want to use a caliper to see how close it is.

let me know what yours messures out to. i got the pics and it looks good. kinda wondering what size it is compared to mine. mine is bored and what not but i also have the area where it brakes threw welded up and i have the top where the vac block is all welded shut and smothed flat.

Brent- I put the ported throttle body on my spare Limit stock turbo. It is bored 1/2 inch larger in diameter than the turbo compressor inlet. My limit TA33 has the compressor inlet smoothed out so I should be good to go. I will let you know how it works next weekend. Take care. Brad

I have to correct my mistake in this thread. The Hot Air throttle body gaskets were purchased from GBODYPARTS-not Postons. Thanks- Brad

well with my TA-54 the outlet of the TB is about the same as the inlet of the turbo.
