Hi,
I have an 84 t-type with a adj. wastegate, and cold air intake. It is time to upgrade the fuel system. What is recomended? How is the race tronix kit? Anyone have details on the procedure or how difficult the job is? I know it's stupid cause my car does not need one but is it possible to put a blow off valve on a hot air? If so what kind and how? Any comments on what chip I should run or other upgrades please respond. Any help is greatly appreciated.

what is a race tronics kit , sorry kinda outof the loop obviously and i do not beleve you would be able to pu t a blow ofgf valve on a hot air you would need a intercooler pipe to put it on . you need pressure from the turbo to actuate.

I believe that racetronix kit is the best deal going on right now...It is a great price and the walbro 340 seems to be the absolute best pump for everyone. As for the installation, you gotta drop the tank, so make sure it is empty. If you want to go all out, or your tank looks pretty rusty, ebay always has our tanks for sale for around $200 or less.
No, you cant have a BOV on a hot air. Blow offs are for intercooled cars when pressure is at a certain PSI. There is no use for them, nor is there any place to put them on a hot air, since the charge is directly into the intake. Good luck, HTH!

THe Racetronix kit is easy to install.
the hardest thing is dropping the gas tank and putting the new pump in.
get the walbro 340 with the hotwire kit, you cant go wrong for that price !

Id also reccomend getting an adjustable fuel regulator, if you plan on using a adjustable waste, its a MUST

and as for the BOV
dont bother with it, hot aired turbos have the throttle body before the turbo

the BOv releases the excess boost in the cooler, when you take your foot on the throttle and it slams the throttle plate shut.

The bov releases the extra pressure in the system , it really has no preformance gains. it just relieves the pressure, so your turbo thrust bearings last longer.

most guy just want them because they think they sound cool
