Is there any sort of easy way to keep the alky tank from getting heat soaked from the engine? I would think that a cool spray of alky would be much better than a hot shot. I see the TTA's have a factory heat wrap on the overflow tank. Has anyone tried this and would it help?

I was told from Julio that it don't make a differance. reason being, The Methanol get's colder as it moves with the air so if it was warm it will get really cold with movement. Try this: after driving around put your finger into the tank and get some meth on your finger take it out Don't move it! now do the same and wave your hand around and you'll feel how much colder it gets. your doing the same under boost.

It was just mearly to show people results the cooling of methanol by actually feeling it. I guess someone could pour it over there head and run around like they were on fire too..

i know what you where trying to say. just thought it was funny. but your right.

The cooling effect when waving your finger around is the evaporative cooling. You should get a bonus cooling effect if you keep the alky cool - The airstream has to raise the temp of the alky (cooling the total charge) before the alky starts evap where you get your 2nd payoff. I can't say how much each stage contributes.
