I'm guessing thats Jet coating of some sort? Well that stuff stand up to the high temps our turbos dish out?

the JH Sterling will dull a bit but wont burn off, all the Sterling parts are coated inside and out but not the JH2000 Black. When I had my TE61, it had JH2000 Gray on it and you had to get your hand pretty close to the turbo to begin to feel the heat coming off of it.

I had that on my headers and it burned off.
My dp went dull, and then it flaked as well.
It looked great at first just like yours.

I did some searching, I was going to use the JH2000 Gray again like I had on my stockers but I found enough to get me to try this stuff. I hope it doesnt burn off.. that would suck

if that burns off there is something wrong. i have had mine coated for years with no fade or burning.
