Is it easy to install a hot wire kit? I already have the fuel pump installed. Thank you.

Yeah if you have a lift it'll take a maximum of like 30 minutes. All you have to do is unhook the wire are the rear running up to the pump and then the hotwire has two connectors (one for each side of the original connector). Then you just gotta run it up to the front along your fuel lines and into the engine bay and then one wire goes on where the nut is on the Alternator for power and then attach the relay somewhere. I think there's a ground in the rear too but I don't remember. On a 1-10 scale of difficultiness I would rate it a 2 because of ziptiing everything.

Don't you have to drop the fuel tank? Or can you reach the pump connector with the tank in place?

you can reach it with the tank in place. The connectors should be on the floor board between the tank and what would be the back of the rear seats I think.

Here's some pics from the racetronix site.
http://www.racetronix.com/images/Fuel_Pumps/alternator_hookup.jpg - that shows where the harness hooks up to the alternator.

It looks like they may have reran the harness a little different than stock for testing purposes but you can get an idea of how easy it is to get to them from those pictures.

Dont have to drop the tank, the connector is mounted to the body just in front of the tank(actually it comes through the body). Install, as 72firebird said, is very easy even if your like me and dont have access to a lift.

HTH,
Steve
