Trying to remove the stock I/C bracket (passenger side) nut by the oil pan and need to remove the fan so I can line a socket up on the nut.

I removed one of the three front bolts directly on the fan and discovered that wasn't the way. There are another set of 3 bolts in a triangle arrangement that appear to thread onto the pulley. Is this the route to remove this fan?

Lastly once I remove the fan assembly I assume I can put the nut on the bolt I removed directly from the fan?

Rotate the engine. I didn't need to remove the fan to remove my bracket. I put a Big PTE S.L.I.C on a few years ago.

great idea, but I already removed one of the fan bolts and need to access the back side to put the nut back on.
