How do you store your cars when not displayed

My collection is getting rather large and I can't display all of my cars. What is the best way to store them? Wrap in plastic? Just leave them on a shelf?

put the cars inside a garbage bag, then buy a BIG plastic storage bin with a lid & stick inside. keeps them dry, safe & relatively dust-free.
