I was just curious but as far as cam, rods, heads (unported), crank, engine bottom end, the entire internal engine of the LC2...how much horsepower can the car take and how fast can you go? My motor is completely unopened and I plan to keep it that way until my first rebuild but I was wondering if high 11's are possible with stock stuff? Is a bigger turbo and fuel injectors all that is needed to run that fast on stock stuff? I have basically all bolt-on performance upgrades you can do now besides the alky kit and 42.5 lb/hr injectors (both coming shortly) with a stock turbo and intercooler. My guess is that I won't see any faster than low 12's and will need a bigger turbo to crack 11's.

I am taking the car to the track next week and will find out what she runs. With my current stuff I SHOULD be running at least high to mid 12's. I would really like to crack that 11 second barrier once I get this thing dialed in.

Stock Motor with a Turbo, Intercooler, Injectors and Convertors have been in the 10s.

High 11s its not even breathing hard.

ya Craig....Mikes was a stocker....so is Melissa's...11.5s @ 118 street trim :)stock motors have seen the 10s (with bolt ons)

Sorry Grump...was a stab at TTA89's *cough*stock*cough* setup :) :)
Im well aware of the potential of a "stock motor", im hopein for mid 11's w/ the 87 this summer, and faster w/ the 86 sometime soon too

11.50's @116 all original motor with 119k. I am about to change the springs now since she is done making power about 300 ft before the finish line :)
