I have that compressor and IMHo it good for airing tires up and maybe a small brad nailer but will not run air tools or definitely not a bead blast cabinet might also be ok to run a airbrush or maybe small paint projects with a hvlp paint gun but that's about it the tank is not large enough to store air runs all the time runs out of air quickly when running a 3/8 drive air ratchet you will spend more time waiting on air then anything

x2,You will need a 60-80 gallon to run a blast cabinet.I have a 30 gallons and it barely keep up on air tools.

its not about the tank size it's the CFM output of the compressor

That depends on if you want to set there and listen to the thing run 24/7 without shutting off , if you had the cmf and no storage if will still run continually and would be quite annoying

Actually it's just the opposite.

The compressor shuts off based on pressure. Smaller tanks require less air to fill and raise the pressure so a smaller CFM compressor will run less to fill a smaller tank.

In the end the compressor has to be able to supply more air than the tool consumes or it will run continuously anyway.
