trans is out of car, thinking of getting bruce's servo. also, anyone know where to get a new tv cable?(dealer 115:eek: )

Servo is one of the easiest things to change and with it out of the car you can do it with your eyes closed... LOL, it's just a snap ring away from being out already. :D If you go with the servo, make it even easier by getting the adjustable pin as well, I'm sure he also has tv cables as well. ;)

Gmpartsdirect.com for the TV cable. $85 after shipping. That's $5 cheaper than the list price at the dealerships.

Screw that. I picked up a universal model at a local transmission parts dealer for $24. And the nice this is that it is much easier to adjust then the stock setup. The downside is that the cable termination at the throttle body is not as clean - it is a tiny dowel with a set screw (so you can adjust cable to proper length and cut off excess). Sure beats $85 dollars though.

Uni-cable

Just make sure what you cut off is excess--do not cut until all adjustments are made--or you'll have $48 invested.
