How important are Throttle Bobies and Upper plenums to performance???

Not too many people list anything about aftermarket throttle bodies or upper plenums on their lists of mods. Just curious are they not that important to upgrade? I know with Mustangs it is a must! Maybe not these cars?

Good question. I don't see many, and haven't heard of many people using other plenumns & TB's. I'm pretty sure Red A. has gone loe 10's with his wifes car, and it had a stock TB & upper plenum.

What could I expect to gain say if I went to a 65/70mm TB & Precision plenum?

Many, many TRs are running around with modified

stock-appearing TBs & plenums.

Send your stock TB and plenum to Jay Jackson and he'll port it out to 62MM. Its good for low 10's......

A stocker will go 9's. It isn't as much restriction as most think.
