How do you go from spinning your tires to hooking....especially on pavement?

I used to jack the front of my car up and throw smoke bombs under car then take pics.Didnt have digital cameras back then so you could not see jack under front of car. wasnt that charger like 1500 hp:biggrin:

And they used a crane.

Who knows. Just like they were going to put an SR20 into a supra and it would magically run 10s.

I owe you a ten second race car. He should have punched him in the mouth when he handed the keys over.

Oh wait...urrr....I never watched that movie.

Because it's V-TEC!

Can you get a VTEC to fit in a Charger.....??

Or was it just an extra shot of "naaawwws"?

I know it's only a movie  but sometimes you'd think they'd at least try to make look realistic.

Now someone please tell me, what's the mast boost I can run on my Buick before I blow the welds off the intake? :D

You are very smart.

It looks like steam to me..

Crap, my tire smoke sticks around for awhile and they gracefully disappears into thin air. Then I go home with this huge smile on my face... she knows where I have been and what I was doing. That's right...little smokies.

Where is it?

That depends. Did you mount your manifold in the floorboard? It will blow the bolts out, leaving a huge hole in the floor.

The whole movie is gay and all the ones that followed it. I seriously regret wasting 2 hours of my life and am now dumber for having watched it.

The car that was rolled was actually a 318 powered car and not the 440 that the article says. A mopar magazine had a picture of it in a hollywood juunkyard. A mopar fan found it and posted the vin and a bunch of other info.

Also supposedly there's an 82 gn in the second one, but I couldn't stand to watch it so I don't know.

LOL I always thought that was THE MOST ridiculous thing of the entire movie series, his floorboard flying off for no apparent reason. HILARIOUS!!!

Must've had a hole in the floor board for some reason, and the wind under the car must've overcame the cheap pop rivets.......

The "welds on the intake" was also rather funny....as well as when Dom told of how his dad died in turn 2 in a race, but wasn't he referring to a drag race?

There's sites that are devoted to listing all the mistakes in the movies. There are tons of them. I dread the next one, it's supposed to have a GNX in it.

Secret revealed???????

Look what's under the car....yet must be digitally removed in the actual movie..?

I herd somewhere that the car actually did a wheelie but kept cutting out as soon as the wheels came up so they had to do it in two shots. Forget where i herd that but im pretty sure it was one of thoes behind teh scenes things on VH1 or something.
