I Know what I'm going to hear here but I'm curious on the fact.I'm talking a motor built right w/ all new parts from the start.Could this motor last a few years?Would only be driving a few times a week but most would be hard.Would always use race gas and always have cheater slicks on for traction.
Also would it be best to just buy one done from a reputable person?
I know there are alot of answers here but just trying to get an idea.
Thanks and try to be gentle with the comebacks!!!
Derek.
P.S. Like to spend under $10K LOL just kidding

I second what Mitch says.

I just took apart my motor about 3 months ago. I had a fresh rebuild done about two years ago with all the good parts and when I took the motor apart it looked real good. It did not need to come apart. It could of went another two years with hard driven. I can't count the number of 10 second passes I have on this motor.

Good Luck

I would like to think that every response would be along the lines of "it will last as long as you don't detonate the thing to death" and that's exactly with Chris and Mitch said. With the right combo and proper tune, there's no reason for it not to last. It's really all in the tune.
