Keep the plate, it does what its supposed to do, alky or not.

 many new members here, whats Razors option on the subject, found that alky puddles on top of the pp.next time mind your own business:p

I run the 70mm tb and plenum and the rjc plate...i've gone high 11's on alky and pump gas but that was with a horrible tune...i mean i only ran 110 mph...too much alky and fuel on the top end...the car could easily do mid 11's on that setup...so the powerplate really works...i don't ever see knock retard on this car anymore...

I like the Power Plate too, just smoked a head gasket the other day, with slicks and good 60' my car would be in the mid 11's no problem.

An honest response is some of the big guys I know question whether it works. Ive seen the display at BG how it even'd out the airflow on the test setup they had... and have seen a bazzillion testimonials on it. Tho the arguement is whether it works "as the engine is running". Is where the controvery for the doubters is.

I dont want a pissing match on whether it works or not. Nor whether it works on 100% of all Buick motors.

I'd blame something else before I did the plate.

Currently I run one on my car. Stock 58mm TB, Stock plenum unported..

Man just about anything can have you launch the HG's.. the more power you make the closer you get to popping that fuse.

What cylinders let go.. bet it was #3 and either 2 or 6 also got hit.

HTH

Razor #1 and #3 went, from the looks of it #3 was going bad for quite some time, also spun #3 rod bearing too but no damage to the crank or rod, thank GOD. was running 25psi boost at the time the gasket and bearing went.(my best 1/4 mile times when she went boom:mad: )

First off, if everyone faster than you "minded their own business", how would you learn anything? Be a prick, I could not care less. I simply pointed out that by clicking one button and typing in a few words, the answers to your questions could be found. Do it the hard way, I don't care.

Second off, alcohol is basically a vapor once injected, how in the hell is it going to puddle on a flat smooth plate? Too many guys are using the same setup with no problems.
