How many DIY guy's did nothing to the pump?

I'm talking about regulating voltage to the pump?

How many just wire it up and using it? What are you guys running "boost" maybe even combo

I'm about ready to do this and want to see if there are problems with pulsating if so what's the fix? I know a controller from Razor would solve this but don't want that at this time. He explain to me what needs to be done but how is it wired?

Is the pump andjustable?

Is the pulsating a huge problem?

Hey Dan, just want to let you know that I have never adjusted my Shurflow pump. It's just as it came out of the box years ago. My pump pulses and it has no effect whatsoever. My turbo is set at 24psi and I'm sure I could run it higher. .032 nitrous nozzle jet.

Lots of shureflows running around pulsing away no problem..And you can lower or raise the pressure with the screw on the top for a little fine tuning..

Its the convenience thing..like a dishwasher..you dont need a dishwasher if you have a sponge and soap They both clean dishes..only one is faster and easier

I like adjusting stuff from the drivers seat..it makes me feel in control..but hey..many ways to do the same thing..

Can the steady stream be more beneficial vs the pulsing..dunno..I guess it depends on how far spaced the pulses are happening.

And for a 12 second GN..probably not a problem..the demand isnt high on the methanol.

I rather not speculate at 25+ PSI. This is just my own opinion..you'll have to go to the track and find out what works..its the only way.

I bypassed the pressure switch on my sureflow initially. I thought it was a good idea, as it eliminated the surging. And then I blew up one of my solenoids.

Keep it on there. Feel free to turn it up to 100-125 psi but don't entirely remove it, as it will put out a TON of pressure which is hard on all your lines and also very hard on the pump.

I ended up buying one of Julio's progressive kits. This way I can lower voltage the pump and keep it from bouncing off the pressure switch (which I have set at 125 psi) to keep a steady stream going.
