How many lbs of torque for Rear-End cover bolts?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how much lbs of torque needed to tighten the rear-end cover bolts properly?

Also...how do you know if you got enough new gear oil in the rear-end?

never cared to know what the torque is on them..

i normally use a air ratchet or 3/8 impact to run them down.

i dont use a gasket either..just good sealer like ultra black permatex ....gm quit using gaskets on rear covers years ago now all they use is sealer

as far as lube level you fill it where the pipe plug is in the side of the hogs head and fill it till it runs over....the hole is the fill level.
