If you are using the stock (111/47) filter then five. If you switch to the pf52 filter you can get six in there.

i got the k&n 3002 --- i think it is the same size as pf52 ---- so i think i need 6

Then just buy a case of 12

Buy 6. I always tap into the 6th quart with slightly larger filter. Then the next time youll only need to buy 5. and so on...
