I have heard this turbo will do it but I'm thinking it MAY be eaiser and maybe less stressful on the motor to run say a GT67 or bb70
than to push 30psi on the 63.???? Or maybe not.???

Thanks.

I have seen low 11's high tens with my 63 4-bolt at around 124mph... I liked the turbo, but not as much as my 70.. ;) I run alot less boost with the 70 to get the numbers I saw with the 63..

Still nothing compares to my little te-44 I had....:D :D

Matt:cool:

what do you mean by that,i am thinking of going from a te44 to a lt70 or bb.

I mean that my old 44 was killer on the street..;) I had a stock converter and could smoke the tires for blocks..:D :D

When you went to the 70 was that your only change? How much less boost do you run with the 70? I'm knocking on the door of a 10 second pass with a 63 and a stock long block.

The whole turbo thing confuses the crap out of me. I read a post like this and then think 70 goes faster than 63 at less boost therfore I should buy one and get that 10.xx, then you read about some dude with a 49 or 44 arleady going 10.xx. Then I start feeling like the little fat kid from South Park (Cartman) " I HATE YOU GUYS!, I HATE YOU GUYS SO VERY VERY MUCH!" :D

there is quite a difference between a T-63 and a T-63E.....lots of folks going 10's with the T-63E (same as TE-45A)

Craig Brown a local racer went 10.4 @ 128 with a PT-63 in his street car! Iron Heads and driven 2 hours back and forth to track.

I would go with the larger GTQ style unit like the 67.
I have run a 70 with out many problems.

I have a set of Mease headers waiting to go on now.
I'll also be going with a little more converter and switch from 27x10.5 to a 28x11.5 tire and open the dump on the hooker exh.

I may see 128mph but 10.60's is about all I can hope for I think.

She's too heavy(power EVERYTHING) for a 10.40 with this PT63 on 25-26 psi.

Not that mid 10's is slow for a car I've taken on 2-7 hr road trips.
