How much boost with alky?

I have seen 30 lbs with my TE60, Alky and 93 octane with absolutely no knock.
After running it that way for about 3 weeks I decided I didn't want to press my luck and turned it down to 26lb of boost.

The 2800 stall is killing me, can't spool for a good while.

I have a 2800 PTC and it spools almost instantly, in fact Dusty tightened up from 3200 to 2800 because I could not MPH the big end. It no spools just as fast and pulls hard up top.

Thats a ton, I don't blame you for not pressing it to long!

I don't hear any exhaust leaks but I'm going to check for them with sea foam one weekend coming up. I can get 3-5 psi on the footbrake but it takes 6 seconds or so. After staging I have no chance of building boost before the green light drops. My alky is set to come on at 10 psi too so that isn't causing me to bog down or anything. I dunno, definitely can't spool as it is now.

Do you have a TT chip?? I pull fuel out in first to help it spool faster. Pm me and we can talk more.

Search Ed Brewer His car on a stock turbo went 11.37.

28 PSI on 1st gear coming down to 23-24 in high gear.

The higher the boost, the more likely a problem at some point can happen. Keep the greed in check, you'll be fine

Scary thing about Ed's 11.3 is stock everything concerning power, he could've run a 10 if he'd ditch the IC and TB/Plenum so the turbo could breath up top and hold 28psi maybe the whole run.

How fast you think in the quarter mile at 23 pounds of boost vs 20.
Everything pretty much stock, gutted cat, hooker exhaust..bigger down pipe.
Ported plenum, throttle body.

I'll throw out my guess. Everything tuned right and Drag Radials/Slicks, 12.6 @ 105. Just a guess, you certainly could be faster! Get a TT chip, bump the timing and drop the time even more
