How Much Can a 4.1 be bored

Picked up a 4.1 block and wondering how much it can safely be bored. It is already at .40 over and wondering if it can be taken to .50 or is it not worth it? Thanks, Kris

It would get a good idea to measure the top of the cyl for bellmouthing. I've had two STD blocks that wouldn't come clean at .060".

Since you're already at .040" it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to sonic check it.

Is the block worth anything. Didn't know if they are hard to find

Need to have it sonic checked. I found that the cylinder cores are not centered and some are thin at some sides. I have one that has a 4.040 bore right now.
