How much do the GN/Buick T-type trannys weigh?

...and is there any weight difference between the years of 84-87? Are the "regular" (non-GN/BT-T) trannys heavier? Thanks

with or without the converter-the converter hads alot of weight to it -especially full of fluid.

Sorry I wasnt specific. Without fluid and without converter. Just the tranny itself. Is there a difference in weight between the years 84-87 or from the "regular" 200-4Rs? Thanks

Well I know from much shipping that the unit itself weights 175# with a 20# crate around it. But that is one of our units full dressed. Plus whatever the converter is, which varies according to the unit you have. Mark
