How loose is too loose?
Rollmaster T-chain with CC roller cam.
I took some pics HERE
It has about 0.14" slack, pushing straight in at midpoint between gears.
If it's too much I'll have to get an undersized.
It went on the cam fairly tight. I just don't want to put alot of load on the front bearing, but I don't want it flopping around in there either.
Thanks, Rob

chain

Use it .
From my experience with Rollmaster chains, they do the original stretch (about what you have) and that is all they stretch.
I have the exact same thing you have with my current chain. It was that way last time I had it down. That way this time. So it looks like it will not stretch any more. I will use it over again this rebuild. The perfect setup is a used chain with undersized gears.
A .005 undersize is in the gears. The chains are the same lenght.
The worst it will do as is, is to retard your timing a small amount.
