I've blown up 7 200-4Rs and to say it bluntly I am sick of their ****. I had an el Camino a while back that had a 700-R4 and I have nothing but the best to say about it, I had a friend build it that did it for not much more than parts. So, I figured I am going with one.
What I want to know, is:
1. About how much do adapter plates run?
2. How does the t/c lock up work with the factory computer? Will the 200-4R plug fit into a 700-R4?
3. Does the drive shaft have to be cut?
4. Cross member need to be cut?
5. Will a 700's converter bolt up to my flywheel?
Anything else I need to know before considering it?
