Can I get a T-Type/Gn to run that runs on pump gas and no alky? Just wondering. I see a lot of guys saying they run 100(or more) octane and seem to be set up more for racing than street. I want a quick 12-13 second street car that will run on pump gas and no alky. Is this possible?
 
Oh and whats a mostly stock car with stock turbo,tranny,injectors etc and a few bolt ons like a chip,air intake do? Low 14's? high 13? I saw somewhere that a stock GN will do 14.50 and a stock GNX would do 13.50 whats the difference between the GN and GNX I am new so don't really know.
 
Ive just been one that never wanted to fool with alky,nitrous,or propane. I know its a good power booster but you have to keep up with it refill it and make sure all the mixtures are just right and that to me is a PITA. I just want to run it and go. Plus not looking to spend tons of money on extras just some bolt ons and mabey a larger turbo or somehting.
 
I have been 12's with injectors chip and alchy. I did a DIY kit and sorry but you can't get much cheaper than this setup. My car is stock except for valve springs, exhaust and K&N.
 
Running 12s on pump gas is fine and a noble effort. But it's also good to have insurance these days. Especially with the quality of gas going down, you don't want to run this thing on the ragged edge of cheap gas. One wrong move and you'll a candidate of the change a head gasket club.

But that's not as bad as the DOTC.

I like to take the car to the track, put at least 100 in it, turn it up and blast off some times then turn it back down.
 
maybe I will just shoot for mid to low 13's when I get one. LoL now I just have to get one. I figure with 10K I may be able to afford one with some mods already done hopefully.
 
I just noticed that about 87's car. I jusr read his mods though and saw that he had it but this 12.6 was without it sorry.
