Trans has a PTS shift kit, PTS pressure regulator system, a PTS deep pan, and a deeper sump and an auxiliary trans cooler. I want to at least have the original pan and not so harsh of a shift kit.

My new car has a newly rebuilt tranny that the converter is a restalled "D5" by PTS @ 2800, trans is susposed to be a badass piece, shifts great. It does not have the deeper pan or sump.

What I want to do is take the one car back to as stock as possible and have the new car as badass as possible. The new tranny was re-done by "brian" on this board. What should I do? Is it hard to put the deeper sump in the new car? Is it hard to take the shift kit out of the other car? I am new at trannies and I wonder if I should just take it somewhere. I have access to a hoist so it would be easy to work on. Thanks in advance for the hyelp guys!! ----Jeremy

Jeremy,
I would take the parts off the car you would like to return to stock or close to stock and save them, or use them later.
The trans from me already has similar parts as you will be removing. The PTS pan would be a great addition to my trans. Not really needed, but is a very well thought out part.
Did you get that car from Scott in Indiana?
Thank you, Brian

No the car is from Anthony K in the Detroit area. Can that pan and deep sump be easily changed over to your trannies? Can you explain how to remove a shift kit to an amature? Or is it too difficult for an amature to do? Thanks again!! ----Jeremy
