How to get titles? Help me save 2 TRs from the crusher!!!

I have the oppurtunity to get a free 86 T and 84 GN. They were both abandoned on the Jersey turnpike and the salvage yard is going out of business. A friend of my dads, who bought the impound yard said I can have them since theyre gonna get crushed in 2 weeks anyway. Is there a way to get titles for them? I dont want to have cars laying around with no proof of ownership.

Call the DMV and see if you can get a salvage title for the car. They should know the details of the situation.
