Is there a chart to id valvebodies by the numbers on top or the D-# code?
Or maybe someone could make such a chart..I have about a dozen valvebodies with the
letters worn off.I believe the D-12 units are the kc valvebodys, but I also have D-6's,D-8's,
D-9's..etc..Any info would help.thanks..

You have d # s and those are castimg numbers. You can only tell by looking at the numberas on the sleeves.I can usually tell what they are by looking at the valves and springs and can identify most by the acc springs. But they arent in front of me so I cant help.A year ago I posted up I had the specification booklet from GM and offered them for sale,I sold 1 last year and 2 this year.I am not making them available again.I can practcally guaranteee there are only 3 people that have these engineering books, super rare.
