How to overcome the oil filler tube leak?

I had that problem a couple years ago stock filler 86 gn I used an o ring 1/8 " thick about 1 " dia. sealed good no leaks since, make sure its gas/ oil resistant.

This o-ring you're referring to, did you make it yourself or did you get it from Dennis Kirban? If you made it, what type of material and where did you purchase it?

Hey guys, Sorry it took so long to get back to you I have been installing my powerlogger had trouble getting it to connect finally got it working. tho o ring i just found in my garage nothing unusual about it tested it in gas for 1/2 hour didn't get soft cleaned it off wiped light coat of oil and put it on the the bottom of the filler tube the metal washer is still on there above it . I was off on the size 1 1/4 ID X 1/8 thick It fits very loose but the tabs hold it on and the filler neck stays nice and snug no twisting or getting loose and no leaks!!!
