How do you remove the (carpeted) cover from the door speakers (concert sound). Tried to pry on it but seamed like it was going to break off.

Ryan,
You have to remove the lower door panel completly then take a phillips screwdriver and remove the screws from back of door panel to remove speaker grill.

If you are trying to replace driver behind grill, you still need to remove lower door panel to do this with no real need to remove speaker grill unless you are trying to replace cover itself.

Where does the lower door panel end and the upper begin? Is it just the carpeted area on the bottom of the door panel? I just put a Kenwood KDC-217 receiver, KFC-6908 6x9's in the rear and tried to put a set of KFC-1368S 5 1/4's in the front doors but couldn't get the panels off (didn't have a tool though).

I really wanna hear what it sounds like all together.

It can be removed in less than 5 minutes with the proper tools.Once you get the lower door panel loose from the door and the arm rest cover and screws removed, the lower door panel will come out. The lower portion of the door panel is all plastic and the upper is the GN cloth material. You can get a good door panel remover from your local Snap-on dealer in your area (and they deliver to your door in person  )
