My reservoir is leaking a little where it attaches to the master cylinder. I have pried gently on it and the master cylinder but it doesn't want to separate...I don't want to break it but would like to remove it and replace the seals.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Jeff

Either way...

I have been trying to pry the reservoir off the spare I have which is off the car...I can try to take the one off the car if it's easier that way....
Thanks,
Jeff

Very large screwdriver, or better yet, a pry bar. Be certain to cover up any paint-work in the area first! Put the pry bar in from the d/s fender, inbetween the 2 res to cyl attachment points and simply lift up. To re-install, on the car, use a 16" piece of 2X4 and lay even across the unlidded res and whack sharply with any hammer bigger than a standard claw hammer.

I will be doing the same thing too here soon. In my case I ripped the old one off when pulling the motor:( It was ugly anyways so I got a real nice reservoir from BWeavy to replace it with. We will see if the BFH and 2x4 trick works to put it back in.:D

Brute force!

Sounds like the brute force method is the way....I'll try it again when I get home, but this time with feeling...
