I like to know if any body can help me with my problem when I foot brake my car and hold the pedal all the way to the floor and the car won't turn the tire over but it builds boost ok I guess and when I take off it feels a lil laggy like the engine not getting enough rpms any help will be appreciated

There have been many discussions about converter stall in the Transmission forum. :)

The method Dusty recommends to gauge stall in the vehicle is to bring the engine to 0 boost and record the RPM there.

This will then give a good value to compare with other builds, and also give you a baseline of where to start.

A 63 turbo will need about a 2800-3000 value for a decent launch, maybe more depending on other factors with your build!

Figure actual 0 psi stall, pull the wastegate rod and power brake it. Also checking spool up AFR with a wideband can help. When building boost, you want the engine to make the most torque it can, which will make the converter flash higher. Low timing and fat AFR's will kill spool up.

Ok the car has been dynod tuned but when I had my pats 32/3400 stall I didn't have this problem and at the track 6to7 pounds of boost only gave me a 194 60ft

You have other spooling issues. What converter do you have now? I have run a Vigilante 0 pump with a TE44, TE60, TE63, 66GTQ, and a 76GTQ. The 63 to 76 were all 10 sec cars (76 went high 9's on low boost), and the others are low 11 sec cars. On 6 to 8 psi, The 10 sec cars are in the mid 1.4's, and the 11 sec cars are going 1.50 to 1.55 easily.

I have the 5disc vig that just got redone and restalled by dusty not sure if 0 pump or not and what's the other spooling problems I can be having
