I have been researching about this alcohol injection for a lil time now and it seems like a great idea but i was wondering what is the best way to turn it on meaning, is there a switch, does it work with rpm's , i mean a switch would be cool so that when i know iam going to stab it i just flick a switch that is hidden, and could i use my washer fluid bottle because i dont take the car out in the rain or anything like that so i have no need for the windshield washer fluid bottle so i would like put the alcohol in that. any comments would be great thanks.

Normally it is on when you start the car via the IGN switch.

Normally there is a controller with pump speed and a turn on point control that is boost set.

When you hit X pounds of boost it starts spraying, very simple.

If you run your pump of choice on full output all the time all you need is a simple Hobbs type boost turn on switch and probably a relay to handle the pumps current draw so the Hobbs switch contacts don't see the full load.

Second and third stages just add more Hobbs switches and a solenoid to flow alky. into more nozzles.

Real easy. :)

Oh so it works off of boost ok i like that better so i wont kill it if i turn it up to 23psi i rather it that way. any word on if i could use my washer fluid bottle? by the way thanks for the reply.

You could, but the problem is the tank feeds off the top, and is very limited in size.

I hate Hobbs switches. They are prone to failing.. do some reading in this section, there is plenty of information.

I use the coolant tank for alky storage, becuase it holds a gallon, and the feed is on the bottom of the tank.

Listen if you want to blow boost, you better be sure the pump is primed and ready.. not having an air pocket in the lines or ???

Click on the my sig, it will show some pixs of GN installs.

Personally, I wouldnt use the GN winsheld washer tank. But thats me. Just my humble .02

Ah ok that makes sense, will be getting this really soon, hopefully before summer hits. race gas is way to expensive all the time. and i have read that you could use rubbing alcohol great thanks for the info.

You could, but it has water and doesnt offer the same results as straight denatured or methanol. As far as knock control.

For a stock GN wanting to run 21 psi boost, will work. Dont think about 25+ on isopropyl alcohol(rubbing).
